First designed in 1928, the original Gye net has stood the test of time and many anglers would agree has never been beaten.

Carried over your back, to use it, just release the webbing peel sling and the net head will fall down making the operation just one handed.

Gye Sea Trout 20″:

It is supplied with a leather peel sling and a high quality Sharpe’s knotless net bag (Code KL 4) that has 3/4″ (19mm) square meshes and approximately 24″ deep.

It is supplied with a leather peel sling and a high quality Sharpe’s knotless net bag (Code KL 8), with 3″ (80mm) square meshes that is approximately 36″ deep, as shown in the photograph.
 
The 24” Gye net is one of Sharpe’s most popular sizes and capable of holding fish up to 27/28 lbs; one has been recorded at 30 lbs, but assistance was needed!
